Wok it Out is the first authentic Taiwanese cuisine that is offered at affordable prices in Rizal. Taiwanese cuisine is famous for their noodles, dumplings, and other fast and easy-to-eat food. You won’t need to travel far or spend too much to be able to get a taste of Taiwan. Wok it Out is here to satisfy those cravings!
Wok it Out has 4 branches currently. The first two are in Muntinlupa and Pampanga, then the last two branches are here in Rizal. One in Cainta, and one in Taytay. The When in Rizal team got the pleasure of visiting their Taytay branch which just recently had its soft opening on August 5, 2021.
Wok it Out Taytay offers an alfresco dining experience. The warm lights in the restaurant give it a cozy and warm vibe. And to add to that, since we’re Pinoy, Christmas decors already surround the restaurant, which much more adds to that vibe. The staff as well were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating.
Overall, the restaurant is cozy, simple, and clean. An ideal setting to let you comfortably focus on enjoying your food to the fullest.
Speaking of food, we can definitely attest and recommend the food here. With affordable prices, their servings are good, the dumplings are packed with fillings, and you can taste the different spices and seasonings used in the flavors. You would also get to have a wide variety of sauces and dips available.
What’s more is that each dumpling is handmade from scratch, from wrapper to its filling. So, each individual dumpling is carefully prepared just for you!
Here’s what we got to try from them:
- Chow Mien
- Prawn Salad
- Hakaw
- Chao Fan Fried Rice
- Fried Noodles (Good for 2 pax)
- Small Platter (Good for 5-8 pax)
From those we got to try, personally I’d recommend the Hakaw and Chow Mien. The Hakaw is dumplings filled with shrimp, so it’s perfect for the shrimp lovers out there. On the other hand, their Chow Mien was bursting with umami flavors.
For bigger groups, the small platter would be the best choice for you. The small platter already includes 10 Pork Xiao Long Bao, 10 Molten Choco Xiao Long Bao, 4 Pan Fried Pork Dumplings, 15 Prawn Dumplings, and 20 Pork and Shrimp Siomai. All dumplings are jam packed with fillings and flavor. For Xiao Long Bao, we recommend that you eat it directly as this is a dumpling you should definitely eat while it is still hot!
