There’s just something about Filipino food that makes it irresistible. It packs strong flavors, it’s homey, it’s soul-warming. It just makes it the perfect comfort food. Maybe it’s just because it’s something we grew up with, but you really can’t go wrong with Filipino food!
Speaking of Filipino food, we found a place that serves that comfort food you are looking for. Hiraya Restaurant is a place where you can find comfort served to you through food, ambience, service, and design. It is the perfect place to create new memories with your friends, family, or other special people in your life.
Homey and cozy. This is what we felt when we visited Hiraya Restaurant. The design of both the interior and exterior of the restaurant resembles that of a garden-type dining or living area. The way natural light comes in and with the surrounding nature makes you feel safe, makes you feel at home. Hiraya Restaurant considers themselves as an extension from one’s home, and it really does feel so, having the comfort of home, outside of home!
They also have kubos where you can dine in, perfect for groups. This offers a bit more privacy and safety during this time of pandemic. This would also add some more of that Filipino vibe during your stay so we definitely recommend this.
As of writing this article, Hiraya Restaurant is open for alfresco dine-in, takeaway, and delivery. Indoor dining is still prohibited due to quarantine guidelines.
Let’s talk food! As I’ve mentioned earlier, Hiraya serves the ultimate Filipino comfort food. Personally, I would recommend their Sizzling Pork Sisig, Sizzling Squid, or Sinigang na Baboy. These are already good to share, and their servings are reasonable for their prices. If you’re a fan of sisig, theirs is a definite must-try. The pork is chunky and flavorful, perfect pairing for any other ulam!
If you want to have solo meals, they also have very affordable Rice Meals ranging from Php95.00 and up, busog na busog ka na!
Peace & tranquility or fun & exciting?
Take your pick because in Hiraya, you get to choose!
Hiraya offers karaoke rooms for rent where you can blast some music and dance the night away while enjoying good food and good company. Or you can have a calm and peaceful dining experience in nature in one of their huts. This place is the perfect coffee spot.
On the topic of coffee, at the same compound you would find Trabi Café so you can get your daily dose of after meal coffee and dessert! So be sure to check them out too!
