  9. Turning pandemic to business...

The New Normal in business now is ONLINE SELLING. Undeniably, the number of online businesses increased as most consumers are now resorting to online shopping and online food ordering. We, Filipinos, despite of job losses, many of us have started their online business. Like what we have on this business story that I am about to share to you.

Samut-Sari is a cloud-kitchen in Angono, Rizal that cooks All-time Filipino food favorites like Silog, Shawarma and Tacos. Owned by 2 young professionals, Joren Ernest De Borja, 23 years old and Ryann Louis Panganiban, 20 years old.

Joren Ernest De Borja used to work as a Customer Service Officer in Astoria Plaza year 2020. He used to booked room for the hotel’s guest in Astoria Bohol, Boracay, Palawan, Pasig and Tagaytay. But because of the pandemic, he lose his job. Whilst, Louis Panganiban was a varsity player, selling RTW before and was assisting her girlfriend with online deliveries. Now, they both work at Trabi Café in Binangonan and Joren Ernest is also now one of the SK Kagawad in Angono.

An inspiring story as I may say. They are both young but their heart is full of passion and dreams. Even business may not always be good as it may seems, they have never given up despite of this pandemic.

We have tried their Shawarma Rice and Tacos and I could say that they really putting their heart to it. From the packaging, to its presentation and taste.
