Thai cuisine is known for dishes that are lightly prepared but provides a strong aromatic and spicy edges, mostly stir-fried, steamed and deep-fried dishes that are derived from Chinese cooking. With that said, you won’t be disappointed with what this restaurant has in store for you!

To give you an idea what kind of food are served here, an example dish would be Khao Soi or Chiang Mai Noodles which is a rich and creamy soup with egg noodles, chicken and curry paste served with lime, cilantro, leeks, shallots and dried chili for that perfect hit of spice. Not too spicy and not too bland either.

If you don’t fancy spicy foods, don’t worry because they have other options too! You can select from some of their other dishes like Gai Thod which is a Tamarind Chicken served with lime, and from their All-day breakfast menu, Chiang Mai Sausage which is an iconic northern Thailand dish.

Lime and Basil is also perfect for vegetarians, since they have a wide selection of vegetarian dishes that will make anyone crave for more! Take for example their Vegetarian Bagoong Rice which they used black beans for their bagoong, vegelona which is a soy protein instead of pork, and then took out the egg to make it fully vegan.

As of writing this article, Lime and Basil is only offering al-fresco dining for their customers and people who are below 18 and above 65 years old, pregnant women, persons with comorbidities and other health risks are currently not allowed to dine in their restaurant.
