Daang Katutubo is located at Sitio Mapita – Sitio Nancupapeyan Rd, Aguilar, Pangasinan and it leads to view deck of Nayong Aguilar. The reason behind why Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) decided to construct the road is to help the Kankanaey, Bago, and Ibaloi groups in Barangay Mapita to access more social services to more urbanized areas. DPWH reported that the 27.6-kilometers road would also reduce the 1 hour travel time of the motorists from the town proper of Aguilar, Pangasinan, to the community to just 30 minutes.

Daang Katutubo is one of the most breathtaking roads in the Philippines and you will totally love the deck view of mountains. If you’re into long rides you deserve to visit this beautiful place and astonish the natural resources. The road is open for everyone, make sure to be a responsible tourist once you go there.
