The Philippines is full of beautiful places and natural wonders that we don’t see in other countries, or even if we did, it’s amazing to think that our country has some of the most amazing places in the entire world. And since the holiday season is already here, why not spend your vacation in some of the beautiful places in the country. We’ve listed five of the most unique and breathtaking places here in the Philippines, check them out!

1. Binurong Point, Baras Catanduanes

Have you imagined yourself being on the edge of the world? Well, you’ll get that exact feeling at Binurong Point in Baras, Catanduanes. Views that overlook the vast ocean, and surroundings that feel like you’re not in the Philippines anymore, now that’s what makes a location unique. The view here during sunset and sunrise is something you really can’t beat.

2. Mount Pulag, Benguet

How about a view of a different sea? The sea of clouds! If you fancy doing mountain hiking then Mount Pulag is the perfect place for you. Mount Pulag is considered to be the highest point of Luzon with its peak measuring 2,928 meters above sea level, it is also the third highest mountain in the entire country. As you reach the peak of Mount Pulag, you will be greeted with a view that is literally out of this world.

3. Fortune Island, Nasugbu Batangas

How about getting a taste of Greece without actually leaving the country? Well, in Fortune Island you’ll see this peculiar structure poking out in the distance, it’s something that shouldn’t be there but in reality, it’s actually an island resort off the coast of Nasugbu, Batangas. You can either enjoy the view of the blue ocean here or you can admire the very unique structures that surround this place.

4. Lake Sebu, South Cotabato

Vietnam or Thailand feels? Look no further, because here in Lake Sebu you’ll be greeted with some of the most picturesque lakes in the whole country. You can definitely see the rich culture and the colorful surroundings that this place has to offer. You don’t need to go outside the country when you can experience the beauty of Lake Sebu and its entire beauty of both nature and culture.

5. Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar Bagac, Bataan

Visit this amazing historic place filled with the original Spanish-Filipino colonial buildings and structures. Truly a place that’s like a time capsule, because you’ll feel as if your transported back in time as you stroll around in La Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bagac, Bataan. You’ll definitely appreciate the beauty of the past architecture, making this place a must-visit if you want something new to experience. Kinda ironic right? You’ll experience something new by visiting an old place.

In any case, the Philippines has so many places that need visiting, it will simply not fit on this list, but I assure you that you won’t be disappointed in any of these places, it’ll surely take your breath away.
